"Meiyu Service" is officially written in Japanese and appears
as the following:

The auctions in Japan are huge. When looking at the
parking lot it is like looking at a sea of vehicles.
The largest auction house in Japan has a parking lot over 2kilometers long!

There are 10s of thousands of vehicles available each week at
auctions all over Japan.
With so many vehicles available it is easy to see why we prefer to purchase at
autcions.
Some photos to give you an idea of what this "sea of vehicles"
looks like.

In the lots we are able to inspect the vehicles we purchase on the day of the auction.
Here is a beautiful Nissan Silvia that we purchased still at
the auction:

Yet there is always the case where a customer requires a car
that just does not turn up at the auctions.
In such a case we must locate one.
Here is an example of a car we sourced from a used car dealer.
This is a absolutely pristine Mercedes Benz AMG SL55 complete with Panoramic
Roof

There are many Exporters in Japan that pretend to be
actual car dealers and exporters.
We know short of coming to Japan to check that it is almost impossible
to tell when just looking at a web site if a Exporter is valid.
First and most importantly it is important that the company
you deal with actually has memberships at the auctions.
Only the company holding the actual membership can control the cars documents
from the auctions.
They are also the only ones able to control picking up the cars and removing
them from the auction houses.
Any handling of Documents, Vehicles, Claims, bidding negotiation can only be
done by companies holding auction memberships.
What does this mean to you the importer?
Well, this means that an exporter that does not have auction membership is at
the mercy of the company/person that they are using to source vehicles through
auctions.
It means that handling of documents or moving vehicles from the auction can be
delayed.
It also means that a car you had an exporter bid on and that you paid for may
not have a release of interest do to non payment of the auction membership
holder to the auction.
It also means that you are most likely also paying for the charge that the
person that holds the memberships is charging the "Exporter" for using their
auction membership.
There are even exporters that do not have licenses to sell cars from the Japanese government.
These types of exporters also can not have direct contact with
shipping agents for handling of any booking or customs clearance.
They again are at the mercy of whoever they are paying to handle it.
These types of exporters are just "Middle Men" and often operate illegally.
Meiyu Service is a registered licensed automobile dealer.
This web site is even listed under the Kanagawa-Ken Public Safety Commision.
Here is a picture of our license that hangs at the entry way of
our office as required by Law.
